Hi! We are Duckbeanpotato, a group of high school game development friends from Maria Carrillo High School. We are committed to making games that spread joy!

Members - Kevin Wei (lead programmer), Robyn DeCastro (lead designer), Heyman Luong (lead artist)

Game development is one of the rare fields that combine interdisciplinary interests into a perfect storm: computer science, music, digital art, and team collaboration. In 2021, Kevin contacted some school friends who also happened to love game development. With our shared dedication, Duckbeanpotato was formed, ready to develop a new world of games. Duckbeanpotato is a mash-together of our online usernames: (Duck=Heyman, Bean=Kevin, Potato=Robyn)

We especially enjoy participating in game jam competitions, and our biggest achievement so far has been Ouroboros for Brackeys Game Jam 2023.1, where we achieved 5th Most Fun, 7th Best Game Design, and 10th Overall!
